Aster Cafe — Marcy-Holmes

Barbette — Calhoun Isles

The Block — Saint Louis Park

Common Roots Cafe — Calhoun Isles
This bakery & cafe uses local, organic, and fair-trade ingredients. At the moment, they are doing to-go orders and deliveries only. But typically, they have a dog-friendly patio, plus their usual indoor seating. These owners are committed to supporting local farmers, being environmentally sustainable, and paying all their employees a living wage, plus benefits. It's not easy being a successful small business while trying to maintain these kinds of standards, but Common Roots Cafe has been doing just that since 2007.

Pizzeria Lola is definitely a favorite among many Minneapolitans!
