Canton Dog Park — 3221 Toone St, Baltimore, MD 21224

Canton Dog Park is one of the most popular dog parks to visit in Baltimore, MD. And it shows up on every list of the top dog parks in town. Canton Dog Park uses sand as its ground covering and provides free waste and water stations. It is entirely fenced-in, and has separate areas for small and large dogs. And there are plenty of benches and large shade trees.

Canton Waterfront Park — 3001 Boston St, Baltimore, MD 21224

Canton Waterfront Park is a beautiful public park right on the water. There are paved walking/biking trails, plus plenty of grass areas and shade trees. This park is 8 acres in size with multiple picnic areas. And occasionally you'll find festivals here as well as "First Thursday" concerts. This is not an off-leash area, but it is dog-friendly. You can bring your pup throughout the entire park, as long as they remain on-leash. And while you're here, don't forget to check out the Korean War Memorial.

Cromwell Valley Park — 2002 Cromwell Bridge Rd, Parkville, MD 21234

Cromwell Valley Park is a dog-friendly public park on the outskirts of Baltimore. This park contains 380 acres of green space to roam with seven pet-friendly trails. You can bring your pup anywhere in this park, but they do have to remain on-leash the entire time.

Downs Park Dog Beach — 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena, MD 21122

Downs Park Dog Beach is located at Downs Memorial Park, southeast of downtown Baltimore. There's not much shade, but you'll get plenty of sandy beach space for your pup to run around off-leash. And if your dog likes the water, let them splash, swim, and play here to cool off on hot summer days. Once you're done on the beach, you can explore the rest of the public park on-leash, and go for a hike together.

Dypski Park — 1213 S Ellwood Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224

Dypski Park is a 2.5-acre park across the street from Canton Waterfront Park. Dogs are welcomed here, but must remain on-leash. Dypski is an excellent spot if you're looking for a playground to take your kids to and want to bring your pup along as well.

Federal Hill Park — 300 Warren Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

Federal Hill Park is another dog-friendly public park. It's located in the city's center and is easy to access from anywhere in Baltimore. You can enjoy the historical monuments and statues here, as well as the beautiful city skyline views.

Gunpowder State Park — 7200 Graces Quarters Rd, Middle River, MD 21220

Gunpowder State Park is a gorgeous park in Baltimore with nature trails, water, and lots of wooded and green spaces. Locust Point Dog Park is located within Latrobe Park—southeast of downtown Baltimore. Sometimes referred to as Latrobe Dog Park, this dog park is fully fenced-in, so dogs can run and play off-leash. Or you can walk your pup around the rest of the public park on-leash, and check out the sports fields. One thing that makes this dog park especially unique is that in addition to having grass, astroturf, climbing rocks, and trees… This dog park actually has a doggy water slide! Can you believe that? This is one dog park you can't skip out on.

Oregon Ridge Park — 13555 Beaver Dam Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030

Oregon Ridge Park is located on the northern edge of the greater Baltimore area. It's not a dog park, but it is a dog-friendly public park. So make sure to keep your pup on-leash here. You and your pup can enjoy the beautiful nature, trails, water, and beach. And if you bring your family along—check out the children's playground and nature center.

Patterson Dog Park — 200 S Linwood Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224

Patterson Dog Park is located in Patterson Park, north of the Canton area. This fully fenced-in park has separate sections for small and large dogs. And it even provides wading pools and water fountains to keep your doggy cool and hydrated on those hot summer days. Patterson Dog Park contains a combination of turf and hardscape with some trees scattered around. And plenty of benches throughout for you to take a load off.

Paw Point Dog Park is a membership-based dog park, so make sure to check that out ahead of time. But this dog park is definitely worth the yearly membership cost. Paw Point Dog Park sits right on the river, so your pup can swim, splash, and play at their heart's content. There's plenty of grassy green space, and it is fully fenced-in. You can still walk a leashed dog to the surrounding parts outside of the fence for free.

Susquehanna State Park — 4188 Wilkinson Rd, Havre De Grace, MD 21078

Susquehanna State Park is a beautiful public state park that sits right on the water. You and your leashed dog can enjoy the woods, rocks, fishing, and hiking/biking trails. Yet another great dog-friendly park to visit.

Two Rivers Park — Baltimore, MD 21224

Two Rivers Park is located on the east side of the Canton neighborhood. It's a peaceful public park where you can take your leashed dog for a stroll on a nice day. It was renovated back in 2003, and has beautiful walking paths, cast iron fencing, green grass, and lovely shade trees.

Wyman Park Dell is located within Wyman Park, on the north side of Baltimore. Your dog can accompany you for a stroll through the park, as long as they are on-leash. You can enjoy the 16-acres of this city park, with plenty of walking trails, grassy space, historical statues, and seasonal events.
