Bok Building Dog Park — South 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148

This dog park is actually connected to the Bok Building. It's a fenced-in off-leash dog area. And it's small, but not too well known, so it's not too crowded. The ground is mostly gravel, but there are several cement seating areas for the humans to hang out. This park provides a water station, waste station, and is conveniently located.

Clark Park Dog Bowl — 4300 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Clark Park Dog Bowl is a dog-friendly area at Clark Park. But keep in mind that it is not fenced in, and it is an on-leash area. But it is a free, public park. And they often host fun summer events like Shakespeare in the park. There are both grass and dirt areas. The park doesn't offer many extras for the dogs, but there is plenty of room to roam around.

Green Street Dog Park — 1819 Green St. Philadelphia, PA 19130

The Green Street Dog Park is a membership-based dog park and off-leash area in the Spring Garden neighborhood. This fenced-in dog park tells us it's safe, secure, and quiet. There are separate large and small dog areas. And this park is always clean and well-maintained.

Philly Dog Parks - drinking water

Kitchen Lane Dog Run — Kitchens Ln. Philadelphia, PA 19119

Kitchen Lane Dog Run is a dog park and dog-friendly hiking area combo. This is a great place to take your active dog for some outdoor adventure! There are multiple trails and creeks throughout the park to choose from. It's preferred for dogs to stay on-leash here, but they can play and swim in the water off-leash if you'd like.

Manayunk Dog Park at Pretzel Park — 4300 Silverwood St, Philadelphia, PA19127

This fun dog park is also very family-friendly. It has a dog run filled with dirt and wood chips for dogs to run and play. Just be aware, sometimes it does get muddy. This park also has a water station and a waste station.

Market Street Dog Run — 121 N. Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106

This off-leash dog area has separate sections for both small and large dogs. It is a smaller dog run with gravel as the ground covering. But the best part is the beautiful view. There are benches underneath some shade trees for the humans to relax. And from this spot, you can see the Ben Franklin Bridge and the boats out on the Delaware River.

Mario Lanza Dog Park — 200 Queen St. Philadelphia, PA 19147

This off-leash area is managed by Queen Village Canine (QVK9). The dog run is a 150' x 40' gravel section inside of Mario Lanza Park. They have cleanup days at the park and happy hours at local dog-friendly restaurants. There are water stations for the pups and benches for their pet parents. But remember to bring your own waste bags to help keep the park clean.

Orianna Hill Dog Park — 900 N Orianna St. Philadelphia, PA 19123

This dog park is another members-only dog park in Philadelphia. But you can register your pup online. The registration is free, but there is a suggested $50 donation per year. This 1-acre area is fenced-in and off-leash. There's plenty of benches and shade trees, and lots of room for your canine companion to run and roam. And there are also some really cool murals to check out while you're there!

Palmer Doggie Depot — 37 East Palmer Street, Philadelphia, PA

This off-leash dog park has a fenced-in area with dirt and cobblestone. And there's plenty of grassy space outside of the fence. Make sure to bring your own water and waste bags. This park is well-maintained by a group of faithful volunteers.

Rolling Hill Park — 1301 Rose Glen Rd, Gladwyne, PA 19035

This beautiful historic park has a fenced-in, off-leash dog park with trails. It's a great place to hike with your outdoorsy dog. But be aware, some of the hikes are a bit steep. And certain areas are not off-leash, so keep an eye out. You'll have to bring your own water and waste bags. But the scenery is totally worth it!

Roxborough Dog Park — 4117 Mitchell St, Philadelphia, PA 19128

This dog park is for members only. It's an off-leash area with grass and dirt. It's well-maintained by its volunteer group. And the members can either pay $100 per year, $25 per quarter, or they can serve 4 hours of volunteer time. Trash cans are available, and there's plenty of shade trees to keep everyone cool on those hot days.

Schuylkill River Park Dog Run — 300 S 25th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

This is a popular and beautiful dog park. It has a synthetic grass courtyard along the river. They provide separate sections for small and large dogs, and a drinking fountain. Your dog's paws will stay much cleaner on the turf. But keep in mind that it is right by the train tracks, and sometimes the train horn can scare some dogs. And they do not allow children within the enclosures.

Seger Park Dog Run — 1001 Rodman St, Philadelphia, PA 19107

This dog park says, "Our vision is to foster a sense of community and neighborly love that extends beyond the confines of the park." It is a well-maintained, fenced-in, off-leash area. The ground is covered in wood chips, and there are separate sections for small and large dogs. This park hosts seasonal events like their annual Woofstock music event. There is also the option to become a member if you'd like. And you can always help by making donations that go toward maintaining this park.

Sherman Mills Dog Park — 3502 Scotts Ln. Philadelphia, PA 19129

This Philadelphia dog park is fenced-in and has a running water feature for the pups. It's located inside Fairview Park, is pretty quiet and peaceful, and is right next to an old horse stable. It is a little small, but that just means it doesn't get too crowded.
