Services & Role Needs:

Around-The-Clock Care: Imagine providing a loving, homely environment for pets, just like their owners would. As a Happy Tails team member, you'll stay in the client's home, following their daily routine and ensuring their pets receive the best care. This role is perfect for those who want to provide a hands-on experience, especially for anxious dogs, senior dogs, or clients who prefer a sitter staycation. Plus, there's the opportunity to earn extra for homes with more than 2 pets. The sitter can expect to be in the clients home during the day and spending the night. Of course, you can leave for personal obligations, following our policy to not be away from the home longer than 3 hours/outing, and 6 hours maximum/day.

PAY: $70/day +additional pet fees, tips and holiday pay

Overnight Care: If you're not into around-the-clock care but still want to make a difference, our overnight pet sitting is the answer. You'll stay in the client's home from 8 pm to 8 am, ensuring their pets are safe and sound. You can even add daytime drop-by visits if scheduling is available.

PAY: $35/night +optional drop in visits ($12/30min), tips, holiday pay

Drop-By Dog & Cat Visits: We currently have openings exclusively for our Around The Clock care team, but if hired, you'll have the opportunity to handle all services offered by Happy Tails, including Overnight Care and drop-by visits. We're on the lookout for dedicated individuals to provide exceptional care for dogs and cats in the New Albany, Westerville, Worthington, Dublin, and Hilliard areas. Our comprehensive services encompass dog walking, cat visits, feeding, medication administration, and home care tasks like mail collection and plant watering. Visits can vary from brief 5-minute check-ins to hour-long sessions. If you're passionate about pets and are open to traveling to these locations, we'd love to have you join our team. PAY: Average pay of 30min visit~$12/visit. Based on length of time per visit.

We Ask That You:

• Live in the Columbus area and be able to serve our primary areas: New Albany, Westerville, Worthington, and Dublin.
• Be adaptable to clients' routines and schedules.
• Bring honesty, reliability, and flexibility to your role.
• Have a working smartphone for easy use of our apps
• Communicate effectively with our office and clients.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a deep love for animals and a service-oriented attitude.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable insured transportation.
• Previous pet care experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Must pass a background check
