This Role is an Independent Contractor Position.As an independent contractor, you will be accountable for your own taxes and will receive a 1099 form.

Essential Criteria

We're looking for the perfect candidate to join our team. Here are the essential qualifications required for the position:

• Able to commit to pet sitting for at least 3 months (this is not a seasonal position)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and some holidays is necessary as much of the work will fall on weekends
• Capable of taking care of dogs, cats, and other small animals - Including: Avian, Aquatic, Reptiles, Etc. Allergies or an aversion to certain types of pets are not a disqualification for this role but we do ask that you make us aware. 
• Must be in good physical condition and have a clean, respectable appearance and attitude
• Should enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather, including rain
• Must have a reliable car, an excellent driving record, and a valid driver's license
• Comfortable walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities
• Fast learner
• Ability to make important decisions quickly and think on your feet
• Exceptional communication abilities are a must
• Familiarity with Google Drive is preferred
• Must possess a cell phone and be comfortable with email and text communication
• Preferred for some roles: Own a computer or laptop.

Our Pet Care Provider Position offers great flexibility and fulfilling work. While the role doesn't necessitate daily involvement, it does require adaptability. As our business places a high emphasis on meeting our clients' needs, it's essential to attend to their demands on an as-needed basis.

*Important Hiring Requirements**

As a part of our hiring process, we require all applicants to have a clear criminal and driving record. Please note that a criminal background check will be conducted at the applicant's expense. However, if you remain with the Fur Fins and Feathers Team for at least 6 months or work at least 70 hrs (not including house sitting or boarding) we will reimburse the expense.

Services We Provide

(Please Note: Not all are required, but the most qualified candidates will be those that are available for multiple services.)

• Drop-in Visits - This includes feeding, filling water bowls, medication, assisting with special needs, playtime, letting them outside, walks, etc.
• Walks
• Taxi Service - Examples: Trips to the Groomer, Vet, and etc.
• Boarding - (In Pet Care Professional’s Home)
• House/Pet Sitting (All types of pets) 
• Day Care (In Pet Care Professional’s Home)
• Grooming - Nails, Bathing, and Blow Dry
• Sanitation Services - Poop Scoop and Yard Deodorizing
