Ash Avenue Dog Park — 12770 SW Ash Ave, Tigard, OR 97223
Ash Avenue Dog Park is a completely fenced-in off-leash area. It is covered in wood chips, it’s very clean, and it has plenty of space for your canine to run and play. This park also provides waste stations, water stations, washing stations, benches, and covered areas for shade.
Brentwood Park — 6550 SE 60th Ave, Portland, OR 97206
Brentwood Park has a totally fenced-in half acre for pups to run free. Dogs can be off-leash, and waste stations are provided. But take note that there are no water stations, so make sure to bring your own. Outside of the off-leash area, you can also enjoy the park’s paved paths, picnic tables, playground, and sports fields.
Chimney Park — 9360 N Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97203
Chimney Park is over 18 acres and has a fenced-in, off-leash area for dogs. This well-maintained park has grass, wood chips, and some paved areas — including a paved walking path loop. They provide benches, water stations, and plenty of shade to help keep you and your pooch nice and cool on hot days.
The Fields Off-Leash Dog Area — 1099 NW Overton St, Portland, OR 97209
The Fields is a newer park in Portland with 3.35 acres total. That space includes paved paths, sitting areas, picnic tables, a children’s playground, and an 8,000 sq. ft. off-leash area for dogs. There are separate sections for small and large dogs, and restrooms available for the humans.
Gabriel Park — SW 45th Ave & Vermont St, Portland, OR 97219
Gabriel Park is one of Portland’s largest parks. The park itself is about 90 acres, and includes a 1.5-acre off-leash area for dogs that is completely fenced-in. The dog park provides water stations, waste stations, picnic tables, and plenty of shade. You can also enjoy the rest of the park’s fitness area, nature patch, skatepark, and impressive children’s playground.
Happy Valley Dog Park — 13770 SE Ridgecrest Rd, Happy Valley, OR 97086
Happy Valley Dog Park is an entirely fenced-in and off-leash area for dogs. This park has both water stations and waste stations. Plus plenty of shade trees and separate sections for small and large dogs.
Hazelia Field Dog Park — 17800 Stafford Rd, Lake Oswego, OR 97034
Hazelia Field Dog Park is 1.5 acres completely fenced-in. This well-maintained off-leash dog park has two separate areas, but not for small vs. large dogs. It’s actually to separate out the shy and timid dogs from the more excitable and outgoing dogs. This park is very grassy with lots of trees and plenty of parking. They also provide waste stations and water stations.
Hondo Dog Park — 4499 NE Century Blvd, Hillsboro, OR 97124
Hondo Dog Park is an off-leash area that provides three separate fenced-in sections. One is for larger dogs, one is for smaller and timid dogs, and one is designed to be used in the winter — but can be used all year round. This park is very well-maintained, has plenty of shade, grassy areas, benches, a walking path, water stations, and waste stations. The name “Hondo” comes from the Hillsboro Police K9 Dog Officer who lost his life in the line of duty. This park was named in honor of him and his service.
Luuwit View Dog Park — 12641 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97230
The Luuwit View Dog Park is an off-leash area completely fenced-in for dogs to run and play. It has grassy walking paths throughout. And you can enjoy the many other features of the park like the community garden, children’s playground, picnic areas, amphitheater, sports fields, and more.
Lynchwood Park — SE 170th Ave & SE Haig St, Portland, OR 97236
Lynchwood Park is a 1 acre, fenced-in dog park. This off-leash area has benches and picnic tables, but there are no water stations or waste stations. So make sure to bring poop bags and water with you. The ground has both grass and mulched areas, and it’s surrounded by plenty of trees for shade.
Tabor Park — SE Salmon St & SE 60th Ave, Portland, OR 97215
Mt. Tabor Park has a dog-friendly, off-leash area that is 4 acres in size. It is not completely fenced-in, so make sure to keep an eye on your pup. But there is a water station. And you can enjoy the many other features of Mt. Tabor Park, like the play area, picnic tables, restrooms, two reservoirs, volcano, and outdoor events.
Normandale Park — 1101 NE 57th Ave, Portland, OR 97213
Normandale Park has a 1.5-acre off-leash area for dogs that is completely fenced-in. There are three separate dog sections — one for larger dogs, one for smaller dogs, and one for any dog. The ground covering is mulch, and this park offers water stations and plenty of shade trees.
Sellwood Riverfront Park — 1221 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland, OR 97202
Sellwood Riverfront Park also has an off-leash dog area that is 1.5 acres. This riverfront dog park is perfect for water dogs because it has beach access for your pups to run, splash, and swim in the river. There are no waste stations or water stations, so make sure to bring your own water and poop bags. But it is well worth it for the fun times and beautiful views.
Thousand Acres (Sandy River Delta Park) — Crown Point Hwy, Troutdale, OR 97060
The Sandy River Delta Park contains over 1,000 acres of off-leash land and trails. This park is tucked between the Columbia River and the Sandy River. Although it’s an off-leash area, it is not fenced-in, so make sure to keep an eye on your canine. Bikers and horse-back riders also use this area. There are no waste stations or water stations, so come prepared. But this beautiful, secluded area will keep your pup entertained for hours!
Tualatin Community Park Dog Run — 8515 SW Tualatin Road, Tualatin, OR 97062
This dog park is an off-leash area, and it’s completely fenced-in. It has two separate sections — one for small dogs and one for large dogs. And there’s a shelter with a picnic area for humans. The dog runs are covered with mulch to help avoid the mud. And the greater park area has sports fields, a playground, and a skatepark to enjoy.
Winkleman Park — 10139 SW 175th Ave &, SW Gloss Rd, Beaverton, OR 97007
About 30 minutes from downtown Portland, you will find an amazing dog park in Beaverton! There is a two acre dog park inside of the larger Winkleman Park.
