Elmwoof Dog Park — 2100 S. Edgefield Ave., Dallas, TX 75224
Elmwoof Dog Park is one of the only off-leash dog spaces south of the Trinity River. It is 0.3 acres of green space for your pup to run around. It also has some canine agility equipment for the dog who needs a little more mental and physical stimulation. This park has lights for nighttime romps in the yard and several benches for the pet parents to sit while their canines run around. If you live on the south side, this park is perfect for you.
Wagging Tail Dog Park — 5841 Keller Springs Road, Dallas, TX 75248
In North Dallas, you will find a 6.9-acre off-leash dog park that is great for any pup! Wagging Tail Dog Park’s most unique feature is its observation deck that overlooks the White Rock Creek from 35 feet in the air. As you and your dog walk around this park, you will realize this is more than a fenced-in patch of grass. In fact, this was the first dog park the city of Dallas ever designed.
The intentionality of this park is clear. There are plenty of benches and pet waste stations for the pet parents. There are two separate sections for large and small dogs. There are canine and human water fountains. You’ll even find a trail where you and your pup can get some extra exercise. When the big Texas summer sun is in the sky, you’ll find plenty of refuge under the large shade trees. Overall, this is an excellent spot for the two of you.
NorthBark Dog Park — 4899 Gramercy Oaks, Dallas, TX 75287
NorthBark Dog Park is over 22 acres of heaven for your favorite canine. This off-leash park on the northside of Dallas is everything your dog is looking for in a place to play. It has both a large dog area and a small dog area. Plus, it has drinking fountains, pet waste stations, and dog drinking bowls. All those things are fantastic for any dog park, but this park stands apart with its additional dog-focused features.
If your dog doesn’t leave here completely exhausted, it is probably because you left too soon. There is a pond with a dog beach and a 6-foot wide trail that loops around the park. And after your dog makes a complete mess of themselves—because of the water and sand combination—they can use the doggy shower! This isn’t really a place that you visit for just a few minutes. This is a place where you can go for the whole day.

Another off-leash dog park in Dallas, TX, is White Rock Lake Dog Park. This one sits at the northwest end of White Rock Lake. It is 3 acres of fun for you and your dog. This park has excellent views of the area, including the lake, walking trails, and the wildflowers that surround the area.
You can take your dog for a walk on the trails until you run out of energy. Then stop by the dog park, and let your dog let loose until their tongue starts hanging out of their mouth.
This park has a 2-acre area for large dogs and a 1-acre area for small dogs. There are several lovely shade trees, pet waste stations, drinking fountains, and access to the lake for your dog.
Central Dog Park — 4711 Westside Dr, Dallas, TX 75209
Central Dog Park is located behind Central Christian Church in West Highland Park. This off-leash dog park in Dallas made the list because it isn’t as busy as a lot of the other parks. If you find yourself needing a place for your older dog to just trot around and sniff, this might be a good place.
Pawsome Playground Dog Park — 4800 E. Lake Highlands Drive, The Colony, TX 75056
This off-leash dog park in Dallas welcomes your pooch to the big leagues.
