Brook Run Dog Park is a 4-acre off-leash Atlanta dog park. It is very wooded, with a loop trail around the park. This large park is one of the most popular dog parks in Atlanta, and it’s actually maintained by a group of volunteers from a local non-profit organization. There are no restrooms for humans, and no separate area for small dogs. But there’s plenty of seating and room to spread out. Piedmont Dog Park is one of the most popular dog parks in Atlanta. This giant off-leash park is in the downtown area of Atlanta. Piedmont provides plenty of water and waste stations, and is completely mulched. They have fenced-in areas for both small and large dogs, plus an agility area and boulders for the athletic dogs. One thing to remember is that because of its popularity, it tends to be pretty crowded. But they do have a limit of no more than three dogs per person. And there are restrooms and benches for the pet parents.
Swift-Cantrell Park — 3140 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144
Swift-Cantrell Park has a little bit of everything for everyone. As Atlanta’s largest park, this 42-acre area contains not only a dog park, but also two children’s playgrounds, two walking trails, a skate park, and three picnic pavilions. There are drinking fountains, restrooms, plenty of parking, and tons of acreage with open turfgrass. It’s a great place to bring the entire family!
